Restoration of historic Torrent House in Muskegon gets $25K boost, needs more

MUSKEGON, MI – The ongoing restoration of the historic Torrent House in downtown Muskegon, which recently had a “tumor” removed, has received a funding boost.

The Consumers Energy Foundation recently donated $25,000 to the project, which involves restoring the section of the 131-year-old building where it was connected to a larger building. Modern building that has been demolished.
