Consumer Friendly Terms for CPT

As we navigate the evolution toward value-based care, the way data is received, handled, analyzed, reviewed and distributed remains an ever-changing ebb and flow. An important and often overlooked step in this process is the patient's ability to understand the patient's medical information. The American Medical Association (AMA) has taken a big step to promote health transparency for non-English speaking populations with the introduction of Spanish Consumer Friendly Terms (CFT) in more than 11,000 codes. These CFTs describe the medical procedures and services available, adding to your already rich library of CFTs in English.
