The prospect of turning 20 was a big deal for singer and actress Keisya Levronka in February of this year. Perhaps it was because of the roller coaster she had to experience (and endure) throughout her late teen years that she finally made her realize that change was and always would be afoot.

"That's always been the question I've been asking myself lately, 'Am I still a teenager though?' Well, no!" Keisya said with a self-deprecating laugh. "I can't call myself a teenager anymore, but I feel like I'm still too juvenile to be considered a young adult. So, well, here we go! I'm 20 now, which means I have to be more serious in everything I do."

Keisya's First Mark of Being a "Serious" Adult: Her Debut Album levronka, which was released on May 12. The pop record, released under the Universal Music Indonesia music label, spans eight tracks on which he worked with some of the most notable songwriters and producers in the industry, namely Andi Rianto, Laleilmanino, Mario G. Klau, Bemby Noor and The Kennel Music, based in Stockholm. Two days before the album's official release, the artist sat down with The Jakarta Post to talk about his career and the album.
