The markets could get interesting this week, with the release of inflation data and the start of earnings season.
The December consumer price index reading is expected on Thursday, followed by producer prices on Friday. Earnings season will also begin in earnest on Friday, with reports from JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, among others.
Stock futures fell early Monday, while bond yields remained above 4%.
