Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.36% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma Index was trading negative at around 10:51am (IST) on Tuesday in a bullish market.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 1.27 percent), Biocon (up 1.25 percent), Alkem Laboratories (up 0.68 percent), Sanofi India (up 0.15 percent) and Pfizer (up 0.15 percent). 0.15 percent more) were among the top gainers.

Dr Reddys Laboratories (1.06 percent less), Divis Laboratories (0.94 percent less), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (0.71 percent less), Ipca Laboratories (0.69 percent less) and Granules India (down 0.64 percent) were the biggest losers in the index.

The Nifty Pharma Index was down 0.36 percent at 14,002.6 at the time of writing.

The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index rose 64.2 points to 19,775.65, while the BSE Sensex rose 242.36 points to 66,832.29.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

Vodafone Idea shares, YES Bank, GNP, Brightcom Group and AmaraRaja Batteries they were among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
