Stocks in Focus: Torrent Power, Asian Paints, Nazara Technologies, HG Infra Engineering, and Others โ€“ Equitypandit





GIFT Nifty futures were trading in the green ahead of the market open on Monday. The indices are expected to open on a similar positive note.

Domestic benchmark indices NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex were trading in the green on Friday.

Nifty rose 0.2%, up 39.7 points, to close at 22,378.4, while the Sensex rose 60.8 points, up 0.1%, to close at 73,806.2.

Below are some stocks that will likely continue to be in focus on March 4.

Asian paintings: The company is planning to set up a new water-based paint manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh with a total investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

Nazarรก Technologies: The company's board of directors approved the allotment of 28.67 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 872.15 per share.

HG Infrastructure Engineering: The company has bagged an order from South Central Railway for a total amount of Rs 447 crore.

Torrent power: The company received an order from Railway Energy Management to install 325 megawatts of renewable capacity for a total amount of Rs 2,700 crore.

SJVN: The company's subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy, has secured a 200-megawatt solar power project to be developed at a total cost of Rs 1,100 crore.

NTPC: The company's board of directors approved the Singrauli super thermal power project, stage III, for an estimated assessed cost of Rs 17,195.31 crore. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation on March 4 for various projects worth Rs 30,023 crore.
