Stocks in news: Infosys, HDFC Bank, ZEE, Angel One, Brightcom

The Nifty futures contract traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange indicates a negative start for domestic stocks. The contract was trading at 17,788, 83 points or 0.46% less than the previous close.

Here are a host of stocks that will be in the spotlight today for various reasons.

infosys
infosys has reported a weak set of numbers for the fourth quarter as its revenue in constant currency terms fell 3% sequentially. Operating margins were also under pressure at 21%. Following the results, Infosys' ADRs on Thursday fell nearly 9%. The stock is likely to react negatively on Monday.

HDFC bank
HDFC bank posted a 20% YoY increase in net profit for the quarter ending March to Rs 12,047 crore. Net interest income grew 24% YoY to Rs 23,352 crore.

Shares of Angel One, Just Dial and TV 18 Broadcast will be in the spotlight today as the companies announce their fourth quarter results.

GTPL Hathway has reported a net loss of Rs 12 crore for the quarter ending in March. Meanwhile, the revenue came in at Rs 692 crore.

Zydus Life Sciences
Zydus Lifesciences has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market isoproterenol hydrochloride injection.

ZEE Entertainment
Openheimer is likely to sell a 5.65% stake in ZEE Entertainment via block deals, according to reports.

The company completed the prepayment of external business loans to the tune of $225 million on April 13.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued an interim order for good cause notice against Brightcom Group and its directors, alleging major fraud on the company's financial statements.
