Maestro is a black comedy crime thriller film directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by Shresht Movies. Maestro is a faithful remake of the 2018 Bollywood movie Andhadhun. The film stars Nithiin, Nabha Natesh, and Tamannaah in key roles. Tamannaah and Nabha Natesh were cast in the roles played by Tabu and Radhika Apte respectively in the original. The film skipped the theatrical release and opted to air on Disney + Hotstar on September 17, 2021.
Maestro has opened up to positive reviews from the audience, and Nithiin has nailed his character. The audience also loved Tamannaah's performance. They say that Tamannaah has not blindly copied Tabu, but rather his own improvisations of the character. Unfortunately, pirated copies of Maestro are available.
