Crypto Mining Farm Taxes Double in January
AKIPRESS.COM - Cryptocurrency mining farms paid taxes twice as much in January 2024 as in January 2023, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Cryptocurrency mining farm taxes amounted to 6.92 million soms in January 2024, double the same period last year. Taxes for cryptocurrency mining then amounted to 3,269 million soms.
Energy Minister Talaibek Ibraev said at the plenary session of Parliament on April 4 that around 30 cryptocurrency mining farms had been registered in Kyrgyzstan and that 8 of them are already operational.
