Taylor Swift CD of Original Music and Country Covers Recorded at Age 11 Sold for Over $12,000 at Auction

The CD includes Swift's covers of Dolly Parton's "Here You Come Again," The Chicks' "There's Your Trouble" and rarer recordings.

Strange Taylor Swift The CD recorded when she was a child sold for more than $12,000.

The autographed six-track album, which includes an original recording and covers of songs by Dolly Parton, the chicks and more artists, sold for $12,505 on Saturday, June 15 until Goldin Auctions.

According to the auction house, the CD was recorded by Swift at age 11 during her years living in Reading, Pennsylvania, and purchased during a trip to Nashville with her mother, Andrea.

The CD itself is printed with Swift's name, the track listing, a black-and-white portrait of the singer-songwriter and contact information, which is now semi-obscured by a large black signature of the Grammy winner.

Songs included on the EP include "Am I Ready for Love" (written by Celina Berman-Gray) and "Can I Go With You" (written by Greg McElrath and Swift), plus covers of "There's Your Trouble" by The Chicks. "One Way Ticket (Because I Can)" by LeAnn Rimes, "Here You Come Again" by Parton and "Hopeless Devoted To You" by Olivia Newton-John.

Swift, now a major superstar, recently completed the 100th show of her successful Eras Tour at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England on Thursday, June 13. After completing three shows at the venue a couple of days later, she shared a reflective and celebratory post on Instagram. .

Swift then talked about her three shows at Liverpool's Anfield stadium. โ€œThe three Liverpool spectators were very expressive, generous and endlessly FUN,โ€ she noted. โ€œThank you to everyone who came out this weekend (they broke the all-time stadium attendance record!!)

โ€œAnd thanks to everyone who has come to any of The Eras Tour shows. It has been the adventure of my life thanks to you. ๐Ÿค,โ€ she concluded.

The Eras Tour resumes on Tuesday 18 June at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, before its European leg continues until Tuesday 20 August. Swift will then return to North America for a series of shows in the United States and Canada. concluding on Sunday, December 8 at BC Place in Vancouver.
