Terra’s branding at MLB opener draws attention from spectators

As baseball fans flocked to Nationals Park in Washington DC for the opening day of Major League Baseball (MLB), the presence of Terra (MOON), the crypto ecosystem that collapsed in May 2022, did not go unnoticed by attendees.

A Twitter user who attended the Washington Nationals' home opener against the Atlanta Braves on March 30 shared an image of Terra prominently displayed on a banner reading "a decentralized economy needs decentralized money."

“Sounds like a solid company. I'll take a look,” the user commented on Terra's prominent location in the stadium.

another twitter user made it known that The Terra Club, a pregame VIP venue experience, is still behind home plate at Nationals Park, as well as "a big sign in left-center" promoting Terra.

The partnership between Terra and The Washington Nationals went into effect in February 2022, just months before the collapse of their native token, LUNA, and UST stablecoin.

Terra community committed $38.2 million in UST more than five years to ensure the deal.

The partnership was proposed by Terra founder Do Kwon through the community governance platform, who is now in custody in Montenegro. and supposedly will face harsh conditions in the penal system, according to an anonymous criminal defense attorney in a March 29 Protos report.

It was noted that conditions in Montenegrin jails and prisons “have not changed” from those reported in a 2020 human rights report by the US State Department.
