The Batman, the DC movie directed by Robert Pattinson that is already in theaters, has been leaked on torrent sites and other networks that allow piracy, in different versions of quality and file size (from 802 MB to 3.04 GB ). While most copies are possibly genuine, given the attached screenshots and user comments attesting to their legitimacy, some are fraudulent and simply exist as a trap to upload viruses and malware onto the computers of unsuspecting people. . But even with those genuine cases, the illegal copies of The Batman are of staggeringly poor quality, full of ads, and appearing oddly cropped. Gadgets 360 does not condone illegal file sharing. It's illegal and filmmakers deserve to be paid for the content they create.
The Batman: Our Spoiler-Free Review
The first legitimate leaked version of the batman appeared on various torrent sites late Thursday, March 3, tagged "CAM," suggesting it was shot on a video camera in theaters. The Batman opened Tuesday in South Korea, Wednesday in France and Mexico, among others, Thursday in Australia, Brazil, Europe and Southeast Asia, and Friday in India, the United States and elsewhere. According to publicly available comments and screenshots, the illegal recordings of The Batman feature advertisements for an online gaming and gambling website. These have been digitally inserted into the film. There are no hard-coded subtitles on the screenshots, as we've seen with other major Hollywood releases that have leaked.
fortunately for Warner Bros. and the cast and crew of Batman, the quality of the illegal camera recorded DC Movie rips are downright terrible, to the point where you just can't watch them. Based on publicly available screenshots, Gadgets 360 can tell you that facial expressions and cues are hard to read, and virtually impossible to see in low-light shots. As always with CAM rips, there are serious issues with sharpness, detail, contrast, cropping, angle, and/or color. We will not post screenshots so as not to spoil any part of the movie. Gadgets 360 has not been able to verify the audio quality, although user feedback suggests it is echoy, muffled, and difficult to hear. The full Batman movie leaks only reinforce the fact that you must see the movie in theaters.
Co-written and directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman follows the titular detective superhero in his second year of fighting crime, uncovering corruption in Gotham City as the Riddler hunts him down and targets Gotham's elite. In addition to Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, the new DC movie also stars Zoe Kravitz as nightclub waitress and cat thief Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Paul Dano as serial killer Edward Nashton / Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Batman ally and Gotham City Police Department Lieutenant James Gordon, John Turturro as crime lord Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham District Attorney Gil Colson, Andy Serkis as Batman's butler and mentor Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Falcone's lieutenant and Selina's employer, Oz Cobbleplot/Penguin.
The Batman is out Friday, March 4 in India, the US, and worldwide. In India, the new DC movie is available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
