Wonder Festival is the largest figure convention in the world. But what makes it so special is not its size. Rather, amateur figure makers receive special permission from the various copyright holders to sell their figures at the Wonder Festival on that day legally and only on that day. Because of this, nearly two-thirds of the Wonder Festival grounds are filled with some of the most amazing unofficial figures you'll ever see. Among the ones I saw at Wonder Festival 2024 Winter earlier this month, none stood out as much as those from the various Fromsoft games.
As the most recent of transmitted by souls games, Elden Ring, had the largest number of figures present. This included everything from various figures of the main character and the various weapons of him...
...to figures of some of his most memorable companions.

But the real stars of the show were the enemies.

The next most popular series was Dark souls. There was everything from very detailed miniatures...
...to figures of the player character and his most popular allies.

But as expected, it was the haters who stole the show once again.

There wasn't much in it An axe either transmitted by blood front, but what little there was was incredibly cool. For An axethere was a life-size Shinobi prosthesis, while for transmitted by bloodThis amygdala came out of a painting.

Of course, in addition to all the fan figures, there were some official Fromsoft figures at the show, although they were all for Elden Ring. These included the game's most accurate Tarnished, Torrent, Raya, and Sellen, along with chibi versions of Rani, the Vagabond starting class, and Alexander.
Finally, although technically not part of the transmitted by souls series, there were also a bunch of figures from Fromsoft's mech series, Armored coreโwhich makes sense considering that Armored Core VI launched in the second half of last year. But while there were quite a few figures from that game, there were also an equal number of figures from the myriad of past games. Armored core games.

All in all, if you're in Japan this summer and looking for some awesome Fromsoft figures that you literally can't find anywhere else, be sure to check out the upcoming Wonder Festival.
