This One Elden Ring Boss Would Have Been a Permanent Game-Over Screen If Not for His Own Insanity

Elden Ring It is known for its crazy boss fights and incredibly difficult gameplay mechanics that tend to challenge even the most veteran players. However, one of these bosses, Starscourge Radahn, also known as General Radahn, is in a league of his own.

With 4/5 move combos and high damage abilities, General Radahn can one-shot you if you're not careful. But his somewhat predictable movements ensure that players have enough time to dodge his attacks.

But if it weren't for his long cooldown and somewhat irrelevant attacks towards the later stages, General Radahn would be a permanent game-over screen.

This boss The fight is so difficult that you can summon NPCs to aid you in your battle efforts. Additionally, you can ride your horse Torrent and move around the battlefield and dodge his extensive combos until you have a chance to deal damage yourself.

However, one can continue to summon allies, attack from a distance, and wander around Torrent until Radahn inevitably runs out of HP. But you can try to fight him, which won't be easy but will test your mettle rigorously.

It has two phases of attack. The attack combos of both phases are more or less similar. But the transition between the two phases is the most complicated part, as Radahn rises into the air and descends in kite form. When the comet descends, you cannot be in its vicinity. Dodging it is also exceptionally difficult, as you have little to no warning before it falls.

Despite his massive damage, dealing with Radahn has become quite a bit easier, especially since the developers nerfed him. His massive combos have become easier to evade, and reducing his ranged health with spells or ranged attacks and draining him while riding Torrent has become the norm.

But the key to dealing massive damage to Radahn and finishing him off early is to stay behind him during his attacks. Aside from a couple of his moves, all of his other combos have a long rope and an even longer release. If you get caught in front of him during those, that's it; a drink. However, if you manage to get behind him during this time, you will have a chance to deal some serious damage.

But the easiest way to deal with Radahn is to keep summoning allies. Each time a summoned ally is knocked down, their summon sign respawns somewhere new on the battlefield. So you can keep summoning an endless array of allies, and they'll keep distracting the giant boss while you position yourself safely away and fire arrows or spells.

Elden Ring Fans will soon receive some treats, with The shadow of the Erdtree on their way.
