Hazaribagh: Three girls from Obra village of Chauparan block in Hazaribagh district were swept away by the strong current of the Barakar river on Tuesday. The three girls along with other women from the village had gone to immerse the Karma branch in the river.
Meanwhile, their feet slipped and the three of them fell into the torrent of strong water. After the information, the administration staff arrived at the scene. Efforts are being made to call in divers.
