Well this is absolutely terrifying.
TikToker @Dottshot found himself trapped inside a Planet Fitness after flash flood water entered the gym and rose rapidly, submerging equipment and forcing patrons to stay on elevated machines.
@Dottshot documented the event on TikTok in a now-viral video captioned:

"So how did I end up on a stair machine in a flooded Planet Fitness?"
He revealed:
"Well let me tell you. It all started when I looked up from my phone to find that half of the parking lot I was sitting in was already under water."
โWe were only expecting 5 to 6 inches of rain, so when I saw this, I was in shock.โ
He continued:
"I went into Planet Fitness, took a shower, and when I came out, the water was already running."
"I opened the door momentarily and that kept the water out. I'm pretty sure the water got in because you can't stop that much water."
"Also, my car sank right in front of me. I watched everything. That hurt a lot."
@Dottshot shared his PayPal and CashApp information in his bio, in case anyone was interested in helping him out with his damaged vehicle.

In follow-up videos, the creator responded that he tried to open the gate to get to the parking lot, but couldn't due to the force of the water.
In response to those who said "just swim," he sarcastically replied:
"10/10 great tip."
