Vorys has been recognized as one of the best gay-friendly workplaces in the US for the 15th consecutive year by the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is the nation's largest survey and benchmarking report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This year, Vorys joins the ranks of 1,384 major U.S. companies that were also ranked in the 2023-2024 CEI.

2023-2024 is the 21ststreet iteration of the CEI and was revised from the previous year to include emerging best practices in LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. Vorys received a score of 95 out of 100 in the CEI 2023-2024. The CEI rates companies according to detailed criteria that are divided into four central pillars:
- Non-discrimination policies between commercial entities;
- Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families;
- Support an inclusive culture; and
- Corporate social responsibility.
Only nine companies based in central Ohio, including Vorys, received scores of 95 or higher on this year's CEI. Additionally, Vorys was one of four Ohio-based law firms to earn a score of 95 or higher.
