WATCH: Lindsey Graham faces down torrent of boos at Trump rally in South Carolina

Sin. lindsey graham (R-SC) was greeted with jeers by an angry crowd this afternoon at a campaign rally for the former president donald trump in Senator Pickens' hometown, South Carolina.

"Well, do you want to find something in common?" Graham told the crowd after more than a minute of disapproving boos. "Calm down for a second," he added.

Graham tried to quell the crowd by highlighting his personal connection to the city, pointing out that Pickens, South Carolina, is home to the majority of Americans. Medal of Honor recipients


"This is the place where people pay taxes, fight wars and tell you what they believe," Graham told disgruntled protesters.

The loudest boos came when Graham began to highlight his relationship with the former president.

"I found common ground with President Trump... I [came] President Trump likes himself, and he likes himself, so we have that in common."

Graham said he will continue to support Trump for the 2024 presidency because "he's never seen anyone so tough for America."

“We have a lot of good people running, but there is no one our enemies fear like Donald Trump,” Graham said.

Graham pointed out that the possible consequences of a Democratic victory in 2024 they include filling the Supreme Court, statehood for Puerto Rico and DC, and abolishing the Electoral College.

“When it comes to Donald Trump, the best is yet to come,” Graham said.
