Back Channel Brewing Co. posted the now-viral video of the explosion on its Instagram, which showed its employee named Brendan Babcock.
The video showed Babcock being knocked to the ground as a torrent of beer leaked from a fermentation valve tank and hit him in the face.

After he was hit by alcohol jetBabcock tried to get up and stop the gushing geyser.
He was quickly joined by other employees who rushed to help, but were forced to stay behind when they realized the strength of the beer.

The brewery confirmed that Babcock survived the terrible experience.
