Wemix, the cryptocurrency issued by game publisher Wemade, will relist on the Coinone cryptocurrency exchange today at 6 p.m.
โWemix can be traded won through Coinone,โ the exchange said on its website on Thursday.
Users can start making deposits from 10 am Owners can start selling at 6 pm and purchases will be available 5 minutes later at 6:05 pm
Last December, Wemix was delisted by the Digital Asset eXchange Alliance (DAXA), a trade group representing the five largest cryptocurrency exchanges in Korea: Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit and Gopax, after the Court The Seoul Central District approved the delisting, saying that cryptocurrency assets have no regulator or absolute means of determining their price.
Coinone, however, said that the credibility of the token has been restored.
โCoinone requested additional documents from Wemix to avoid previous situations when it was removed from the market,โ Coinone said. โWe have explicitly analyzed the data presented and the proposals that have been made about improvements and future measures. After examination, we have confirmed that issues such as coin circulation volume notification violation and credibility issues have been resolved.
โIf similar problems [as before] arises again, such as creating a market disorder or causing damage to investors, Coinone will actively respond to the matter.โ
In addition to Coinone, Wemix is โโcurrently available for trading on GDAC in Korea, a smaller local exchange, where it can only be traded for Bitcoins and Ethereum, not won.
On Wednesday, Wemix was listed on Mercado Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency and alternative asset investment platform in Latin America and is also available for trading in Brazilian reais.
